Torgo, thanks for your responses, they've been a big help.

Ditto and thanks from me, Torgo. I own most of what you just broke down but never took the time to really dissect it into what overlapped into what. Wow this internet sure is helpful.

You're quite welcome, areemts1130 and 20_20_Hearing. Glad to help answer questions as best I can.
I've already had several PMs asking about some of the libraries offered as the bonus selections. Feel free to ask - I have close to all of them.
[Edit: deleted stuff about ReTank versions of loops packages missing the MIDI slices. The web pages for those products don't list MIDI among the features, but Squids informs us that they are in fact there and that the web pages will eventually be updated.]

It's been a while, so let me give the thread a bump.
And while I'm here, I have a question for Squids. I ran across an interesting product: Sunlight (download) http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=1156
I don't need this right now (it's sunny outside), but will it be avaliable next winter? For that small a price I will gladly purchase multiple copies! In fact, I may but it every day in February!

That's not correct Torgo. The Jazz and Blues Groove ReTanks have slices and midi.

Squids - does this mean that all of the loops/grooves packages have exactly the same features as their XT equivalents (other than the XT player being included with the XT versions)?
I picked up the XT versions rather than ReTanks because the word during last year's big XT group buy was that the XT versions added a key feature not found in the ReTank equivalents.
Since the ReTank pages on the esoundz web site have no real info about the content, I didn't know that this may have changed.
(Take a look at the Jazz Grooves page, for example. It doesn't make any mention whatsoever of MIDI slice maps being included as part of the package. That's a rather significant omission.)
So is there a difference in features? That would be sweet if they're the same - and potentially an extra reason for people to hop on board this group buy!

Bump back to the first page. We're getting close to 200, go, go, go!

I just joined yesterday.
Got a serial number but even after reading their FAQ I can't figure out how to get the download.
And where would I get the extra download that I believe is now part of the deal?

I signed up yesterday. Logged in to esoundz to get my serial, then signed in to IKMultimedia to get the downloads - the Vsti under "downloads" and the sounds under "sounds".

PS. After getting the serial under esoundz you have to register first using the IK uthorization wizard - then the downloads will be available.

Just tried it.
I don't see the downloads at IKM. Are the user name and passwords supposed to be the same as on esoundz. If so, I think that's where things got screwed up. Somehow got 2 different accounts and can't go back to the original user name because it says it's already taken.
I've contacted support at esounds. Is IK the same company?

Not the same company. You have to register seperately at IK.
