-- exchange the switch for a Megaswitch E to get the following PU combinations :
---- N
---- N & M
---- N & B
---- B & M
---- B
i.e. all three Tele sounds where you'd expect them to be, plus the two Strat inbetween settings (not 100%, but very close)
or:
-- put a SC sized HB in the middle position and simply exchange the hot wires of the B and M PUs at the switch![]()
---- N
---- N & B
---- B
---- B & HB
---- HB
i.e. all three Tele sounds & two HB sounds, again arranged in a very intuitive, organic sequence
What works very well for example is a Fender Noiseless Tele set with a Duncan JB Jr in the middle

Voila - stage friendly fast switching !
Now use the included stereo cable, electric to your amp, acoustic to PA (via DI if necessary) - ideal stage guitar if you need to be flexible.
For Top40 use I like the above with a twist :
-- the electric side goes to a JMP-1 and TC G-Major setup, either DI or better with poweramp and cab if stages allow
-- the acoustic side through any 19" multi FX with MIDI volume to PA
-- Bingo, single MIDI volume pedal for both, switching via the mini switch, separate programmable sounds for both - if that doesn't cover many bases ...![]()
Plus you only have a single stereo cable between guitar and 19" rack.
Just to show the potential, in a different scenario a simple amp with a few stomps might be what the doctor ordered.
