I'm almost afraid to try this. Not sure I'll have the money within a month, even with the discounts.
Things could squirly if the demo runs out and I can't buy.

For reference, I smoked a Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona, and it was splendid. I'd been saving it for six months for precisely this occasion

Wow, premium cigars + coffee + sleep deprivation + KVR.DaveGamble wrote:For reference, I smoked a Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona, and it was splendid. I'd been saving it for six months for precisely this occasion
Sounds like a wild ride.

A suggestion for you dave ;
When the user opens up the advanced mode ; have a small tool tip show for an instant which states .....................
"With great power comes great responsibility "
Or alternativley.....;
"You did RTFM , right ??"

Hi Dave and Krzysztof,
Kudos to you for unleashing such a powerful dynamics tool!
As I explore and edit advanced parameters, I keep wishing for a way to navigate directly between advanced pages without having to go back up to the advanced overview panel and back down into another advanced page. Perhaps the page title could have combobox behavior...wouldn't that work nicely?
Also, an optional analyzer for the sidechain EQ editor would be nice too.
Cheers,
James

On the "Drum Buss" preset after some audio has gone through Compassion (Win7) there is a constant white noise that registers -60dB on the VU. Bug or just me?

Mr PDF manual has this: (pg.18 "main eq parameters ")
unescapable conclusion ;
Analog fairy dust is made of Gaussian White noise!
Noise can be mixed into the signal path, at the same time as the EQ is
applied. Noise Level determines the volume of noise to be mixed in, when
Noise is On. Compassion mixes in Gaussian White noise, such as would be
measured in analogue hardware. Noise EQ determines whether the noise is
mixed in before or after the EQ is applied. When On, the noise will have the
same spectral shape as the EQ curve.
