Different splits/midi filters on same vst between sub-sessions?

Hi,

What I need to do is this:

I have a vst instrument that has a split set with the 'midi filters' option window, and I need the next sub-session to have a different split, on the same vst.

Is this possible? And if so, could someone point me in the right direction? I can't seem to find any way of making the midi filter/split settings change with the sub-session!
