Verifiably not so, as it goes.
There are plenty of people who want, and can buy, but won't if there's a crack.

Actually, I quite like the idea of being able to make some money, so I can just as a mad example, afford to pay my graphic designer without emptying my savings (done), and perhaps hire someone to, say, make videos which will help everyone use the plugs, or write and translate manuals, or handle some customer support. The line is much more blurry than you imagine.

That said, I really don't think my passion is in question

Oh, come on, I made my account here several days ago, and it is released, cracked and upped today. I hope you're not implying that I'm a member of an illegal group.

I have registrations at several sites, there are sites that don't require registration at all. Registration is free. Please read my first post here carefully. It is a simple question to developers. Just DOESN'T make sense.

EDIT: Anyways, I've assisted Dave in pm's and it's now in his hands. That's all I can do.

I'd prefer well paid professional developers and designers who can afford to put their full energies into their job, in an industry that attracts talent with sufficient financial rewards thanks, so I get awesome plugins.

What I have tested compassion, I am happy that it doesn't kill your low freq, as almost all compressors will do. Also it really glue things together.

Use the upward expansion mod (in utils) as a starting point.

Not all compressor designs can be used for upward expansion (i.e. it's easier to design a compressor circuit than an upward expansion circuit). Now you have access to different compressor designs, you can become unstuck. Same with gates; you have to design it a certain way (AR Coupling, AR Order, Attack Type, Release Type, Hold, etc...)

Grab the mods as a quick starting point for exploratory stuff. It'll save untold time
