Cubase version is 6.0.0 - might the problem reside there?
It's certainly worth a try, could you download the 6.0.3 update?

Thank a lot, let me know how you get on. These things are a process of elimination, there must be something different between your setup and mine and if we can track it down it's more likely Dave will be able to deal with it.
You mean 6.0.2 ;)
Unfortunately I have this mousewheel problem with 6.0.2.

As mentioned about 10 pages ago there is mousewheel support only for the knobs. I just want to confirm this for Samplitude 10.21, Reaper 3.76 and Live 8.22 on Win XP 32. I've read that it's on Daves list :)

The main point to me is that also the shift funktion (higher resolution) isn't working on the sliders!

It get's a bit tricky if you want to increase e.g. the transient max parameter. I get 10 dB on about 2mm display range (2048x1152 23 inch monitor) ;) It's virtually impossible to get the right value with the mouse.

Yes, no problem. The kid is making me spin and going out every time the rain stops for more than 2 seconds...but will get back ASAP :)

Do you think it would be practicable to switch through the advanced pages without closing them?

Same here!

Flick through to the next screen? It's certainly possible, my problem is working out how you'd get from where you are to where you want to go quickly. Any ideas as to how you'd like to see this implemented?

Hello Krzysztof,

it took less than expected. I upgraded Cubase to 6.0.2, the problem is still there.

I don't know if my setup can help you: Gigabyte P55-UD3 (EDIT: re-checked, rev F9), i5 750, RME Fireface 400, Sapphire HD5450, 12GB Corsair XMS3, SSD Corsair F120, 2*500GB Seagate HDD, LaCie TI FW card.

Took less than expected 'cause the rain has turned into a storm ;)

I think someone in the thread mentioned a combo box solution to get to a dedicated page.

Simple next/prev buttons might be ok too.

Cheers,
Doc

Yep, I thought also about simple next/preview buttons e.g. in the upper middle of the advanced pages?

This problem with the mouse is only when another instance eg. of Equality editor is open. If Compassion is the only opened plug-in editor it's working here. If I open Equality then the mousewheel is broken.
Closing the plug-in editor window is enough, then its working again.

Eventually you can verify this: open Compassion, try the mousewheel eg. with the release parameter. Open Equality, go back to Compassion and test the mousewheel again. (if you have the same problem: close Equality and go back again and try it).

May be some shared code for the mouse capture/handling stuff or a combination with the GUI toolkit Cubase is using on Windows (Afaik it's GDI+)

Is this the same for you Amon?

Yes, I specified this a while back, I didn't know you missed that, sorry.

I checked deeper. If I load COMPassion, it works fine and keeps working on multiple instances. Same for EQuality. When I load both plugins, mousewheel is only working on the second plug-in I opened. If I load multiple instances of both, mousewheel is only working on the plug-in having more instances loaded :-o
