Thanks Jon, I was going to suggest some of those options too.
Keith99, if the problem remains, email me with your user details, so I can send you a test build.

OK reporting back.
I made the changes suggested by jgale although only "I am getting an OPCODE 19 error" was unticked anyway. I then opened a track and it ran fine. It used Jamstix. I then opened another track (the one that crashed yesterday) and found Jamstix had lost all its settings so deleted it and added it again with VST instruments. I then got an opcode 58 failed followed by a complete hang for a minute and then "Jamstix 3 has crashed wtih last audicode = 33 and last dispatcher = -1).
So then I restarted Cubase loaded the same song again and this time it works. I am now working but not sure if it will last.

Well it worked fine then for an hour or so - I shall monitor it

Well I have been using it mainly successfully over the last week. Every time I open a new project I have to cross my fingers as about 1 in 4 times Jamstix crashes with the opcodes I listed before. Once the project is loaded however it then runs fine so it is useable just a bit frustrating

Does this act as a sort of subhost for VST's. If so what happens to saving and loading presets (fxp.fxb for example). Are they then handled by the jbridge wrapper of still by the host?

Hi.
The data received from and passed to the host is exactly the same as if it was running the plugin natively, so there's no difference. The unbridged plugin will still be able to load that data.

So does it need loading itself as a plugin then you load the vst? Or do you have a copy for each wrapped vst?umd wrote:Hi.

Each plugin will need a correspondent bridging dll, which is created with the included tool. Basically, it will work like this:
yourhost(bridging dll)<->auxhost(your plugin).
yourhost(bridging dll)<->auxhost(your plugin).

Umd - sent you a PM. It has been worse tonight (6 tries and kept getting opcode 58, followed by 33 and -1). I did wonder if it may be due to the project using Jamstix which in turn is subhosting Battery. JAmstix is also running in drum module mode

Keith99 - I don't seem to be experiencing as many problems as you are having. You may be onto someting - subhosting could be the issue. I use SD2 but do not subhost. Any thoughts about driving Battery via midi?

Keith99, please check your email.
Since you're subhosting another plugin in it, perhaps it would be best to try the "separated GUI" option too, to see if it makes any difference.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help get Jamstix running better under jBridge.
We also have a user who has trouble running JS via jBridge in Studio One Pro. Even without subhosting.
Thanks!
