thread title says it all basically... I dunno what's going on, but in any way it's perfectly possible to load these .dll_s as VST-plugins - just not in Zen.

Post

OK, I don't know what Polac does so you'll need to give me more information there.

Post

Oh, apologies!

There's a fantastic little program which converts DX/DXi and MFX into VST-plugins:

Post

ok, and which plugin should I use it with ?

Post

I think it should give the same kind of error message, whatever DXi you convert with it - at least it was the case with all those I tried.

Post

allright, where can I get a suitable dxi then?

Post

Hmmm, ok. But why use a wrapped version of a dxi, when there is a vst version of Triangle available ?

Post

It was just an example for this kind or problem... there's no proper VSTi version of PSYN for instance...

Post

wow, PSYN is pretty much the only one I could find. All the others (including all the ones listed at kvr) always have a vst version too.

Post

There's also no VST-Version of Cyclone, DS864, Roland Groovesynth, nPulse, Velocity and TTS-1 (but not all of them work converted).
Besides I have Dimension as DXi and would need to practically buy it to get it as VSTi.

Post

Damn. Had I known I would ever need these, I would have kept my copies of Project5 and Sonar 4.... Is there any free one somewhere ? Apart from Triange that is, as I already have Triangle VST installed...

Post

perhaps the installers of Square 1 and SFZ+ still include the DXi... but you need to register to get those.
