However... we DO offer lower quality DSP modes - note the HI, MID, ECO settings - so we can provide the best modeling solutions at each DAW level.
like I said, quality was a poor choice of words and I'm sorry...dont know what more I can say?

More of a deal is being made about this in my case then it should, people are taking offense to the way I prefer to use AT and that's just plain messed up. Do you really care if I do not track with AT? Everyone has their wishes when new software comes out, not all of us get them...but I do not think you have heard me say anything bad about AT except I had other wishes. So what? I still think AT3 is great, it didn't get worse and I liked it before

I guess I'm just hopelessly dreaming of the day where where latency is measured .001ms

This has been decided against. We are not going to be offering offline activation for à la carte Custom Shop purchases. So it is not a priority, sorry. We understand that this may cause some people to decide against purchasing new AmpliTube models.
Thanks for finally giving a definitive answer.
Amplitube is a dead end for me then, as is IK in general.
Good luck with the icrowd !

No need to be sorry here imo. This is a music forum where people openly share opinions and have dialog. And...it's the "effects" section at that

I'm with Susi on this. All this hoopla and -- wait for it -- no attention to the bloat and now no off-line activation!

A significant portion of your customers want to be able to work with offline DAWs. Why screw them over like this? Your copy protection is now more important than your sales?

Waiting for a solution or a bundle I could deal with - this is very disapointing and not a trend I want to see emerging.

For shame! :uhuhuh:

You can't be serious about your shredding with a bunch of noxious java-script running roughshod over your CPU cycles.

Repent you wicked ways! (etc)

Just set myself up big time for your amusement :hihi:

You'd have to do some serious slow-dancing with a real amp setup,
to achieve that latency on stage :hihi: (It might be a real short set  )
