Flick through to the next screen? It's certainly possible, my problem is working out how you'd get from where you are to where you want to go quickly. Any ideas as to how you'd like to see this implemented?
Maybe Tabs?
And as we are on it:
I would prefer Clip Limiter and Transient Shaper to get their own page each.

Oh well, how could I forget about tabs... yeah this would be the killer solution!

Also agree about the clip limiter getting it's own page :)

Cheers,

Tabs would be nice ;)

The numerical readout of the VU is too dark IMHO, I would like it with the same contrast of the advanced page parameters 8)

I don't see the 'brew coffee' button?

I'm loving your GUIs, Dave.

I think we are now here to get Compassion bug free and perhaps to add some (simple) features.
It was the same with Equality a Year ago... It's not me who could decide what features are simple to add...

Am I wrong on this?

ATM I don't now if it has been mentioned but the sidechain eq could be switched on only by double clicking the bell and not the e.g. high pass. And the bell also switches the shelfs off..

The eq points are almost invisible when switched of (at my place).

There's a little space to the left of the current controls on the clutter bar.
I'm thinking maybe a dropdown menu with...
- Cappucino
- Latte
- Espresso
- Espresso with ice (because it's that time of year again)
- Americano

Will that work? Do I need a separate option for adding milk to the americano? Should group things into Espresso / Non-Espresso submenus? Man. This is HARD.

Absolutely right. v1.02 should fix pretty much everything here, and that's in beta right now.
I've a couple more things to tweak, and we should be ok.

Yeah. Totally aware of this... not sure how I feel about it right now. On one hand, being able to bash the middle band (from the main page) to quickly enable/disable the sidechain EQ is really cool. On the other, it's a little counterintuitive. :S

Does COMPassion model the harmonics or saturation added by other compressors? For example, I believe Waves Studio Classics / CLA, Softube's FET and CL1B, The Glue, etc. all model the behavior but also the sound of the compressor (harmonics, etc.). Is this what the Mods do in COMPassion or is it more like the compressor models in Logic's stock compressor? I'm having a hard time getting COMPassion to sound similar to the others...(I bring this up because I've seen people say COMPassion has replaced their other compressors).

Any change to the knob ranges planned for 1.02? Or is that a bigger issue to be tackled at a later time?

Later time. 1.02 is primarily a stability update. It includes a handful of features, but basically I want to get this into your hands ASAP ;)

The harmonics that a compressor generates can come from one of two things:
1) The compression/gr behaviour
2) Saturation and the like from overdriving the signalpath (valve units, solid state stuff clipping, etc)

1) Yes.
2) No.
