I haven't gigged since the late 70's but I rock out almost everyday with all these computer goodies
Haven't even turned on any of my REAL amps in months. It's a great time to be a guitar player! Wish I would have had all this in my heyday - I turn 60 this year and still WANNA RAWK.
Now the proud owner of an avid 11 Rack, Running Pro Tools 10.3.3 - for me it's heaven!

Yeah, I turn 50 this year, and when I think about the 80's my back hurts.strangedogs wrote:I haven't gigged since the late 70's but I rock out almost everyday with all these computer goodiesHaven't even turned on any of my REAL amps in months. The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I live in Houston so my nose is always itching and hurting, therefore it brings back no memories. But your post did.Hink wrote: I'm almost 52 and when I think of the 80s I draw a blank....but my nose starts to itch and hurt

Speaking of the '80s, that new amp we just got is a vintage 1980...

Is 1980 already considered vintage?

Think back to what a certain Paul Rivera was doing/working for circa 1980
But i like the ADA stuff alot and if possible then hope someone has at one. They can be had for peanuts and modded for little cash also. Rather a la carte rack mount awesome bishop666 i reckon

I had one of these, and very, very stupidly sold it a few years ago. I have tried a couple of times on eBay, but they always end up going for quite a bit (and way more than I sold it for!
I would really, really like to see one of these modeled...so that we can all be Rokken like Dokken!

It's not an MP-1. I'd personally love one, but I believe ADA wasn't founded until 1987. And, as much as I'd like an MP-1 model, I want one of these even more!
