Hi HG :)

Weelll, I've done something I really like in FLS 10 but when I render it just gives me a hum :? . I also tried recording it into Edison but the resulting mp3
but the resulting audio is hollow and crappy :? I've got 5 instances of UltraSwamp running. When rendering in FLS , at the end of the render process I hear a noise burst, very short and the CPU spike to about 90% and the FLS locks up :? I have not tried playing the song in FLS and recording into something like wavosaur, I'll try that next and let you know what I find out.

have you got the recent free or Pro version? As the public beta did show this issue in some version of FL Studio. Then export to wave or MP3

I've got the free version, but I just tried changing audio from the LexiconAlpha ASIO drivers to the "Primary Audio Driver" and it seem to be fine. I've been having some issues with the Lexicon and I just thought about that. I really need to find out what is going on with the Lexicon :(
Any way I'll have the song up on sound cloud soon. :)

just for crosschecking try ASIO4All with it, maybe it'll give you a clue.

Just tried that as well but FL crashed before the render starts, I'm on W7 X64 if that matters. But its really not a big deal as switching to Primary Driver for rendering it is no trouble until I figure my system.

Thanks for the fb post as well, I just remembered you asked people to post there and I will do that when I create another tune for UltraSwamp :)

I've FL 10 (recent demo) here and it works fine with rendering regardless of the driver used.

So i took my test track. Replaced all the UltraSwamp beta instances with Ultraswamp free ones...rendered out the file... and got a burst of noise that nearly blew out my headphones and then silence on the rendered file.

rendering with asio produces the same results. Silence in the output file.

this is being rendered on a two 2 ghz core machine 4 gig ram, FL 10, thru a maudio fast track, win 7 64 bit. The project in question has four instances of Ultraswamp with one extra automation track. No effects other than IL Maximus.

Just to make sure I switched out the UltraSwamp with the altair 4 beta and that renders fine.

well, I've the demo Ver 10.0.0 of FLS here running on Win 7/64Bit on a 2x3ghz machine with 4Gig RAM and it's definitively working fine like others have reported too.

You did replace the instances with Altair which worked - did you re-replace _then_ the instances with Ultra Swamp back again? I'm not knowing what data FLS is storing in the project files but maybe the error is ported that way via VST ID and some other data entry.
An idea to check is to open a new project with UltraSwamp, enter some notes and export. If zhis works then save the other project with e.g. the Altair as replacement and a new name, then reload this project and re-replace with Ultra Swamp hopefully there in no cache involved so the saved version is actually reloaded like from a fresh start of FLS. You might even try to save the project with no VSTi assigned and then reloading and re-assigning the VSTi.

I will start a new project to see if that works. If it is something in the saved project data that is causing the issue. But jumping thru all those hoops below just to use one VST is way to much work to everytime :)
