Level Meters

I have a Cantabile 1.2 configuration that includes some analog inputs along with some vst instruments all running through a MOTU 828 mkII interface. I've noticed that any signal coming from any of the analog inputs results in a level on all level meters of all the racks, including the vst instruments which is weird. Output from a vst instrument however only shows up on the relevant vst rack which is what I would have expected. Am I missing something?

Hi,
maybe a stupid question but are you shure you only have activated the "input connect" button (little microphone icon) on those racks you want the input signals to occour ?

Hi - thanks for the quick reply. In Cantabile 1.2 the input/outputs are configured via the Audio Channels dialogue on the Edit menu. I have the inputs for the analog channels set up as I want them but for the VST instruments the Audio Channel dialogue box for inputs is greyed out so there's no option to change. I assume they are not connected but the application is behaving as if they were.
