do you recommend some ensembles, in the Legacy Library? Thanks!
(see your "Ensembles" folder, for the LegacyLib)
i have classics, not legacy?

What I've done is install R5.0, then upgrade to R5.1.X, and, finally, go for R5.5. At the end, my "Ensembles" folder contains: Classics, E1&E2, New Additions, Tutorials, and Legacy Lib (as a .zip file, though). I believe "Classics" is provided from the R5.0 install or from the R5.1.X install.

I wonder how well reactor integrates with VST-hosts? Are you able to load ensembles with reactor as a wrapper in "regular" hosts and how smooth does this work?

It runs as a VST, RTAS, or AU plug-in. Just load it into your host, and select an ensemble. It works just like the standalone version.

It works very well as a vst. I especially love using it with Live, recording sequences etc.
