What's wrong with the charvel?
Sorry I've missed it man
two things:

the floyd rose arm has to be fixed :burning: It's too loose, and it's hard to explain but it's not usable currently :x

the other is more esoteric and might just be something I have to live with and that is pinched harmonics are nearly impossible  I'm going to go out on a limb though and say it's this floyd rose (can you tell I'm not happy with my FR :hihi: )

I can't imagine how this is possible but I know the cure for sure, put that stratoblaster pre-amp I built in it. You dont have to kill it but if you use just a little to sweeten the sound I'll bet your problem goes away :tu:

hmm,
Would another floating tremelo fit to the 2 axis points(studs?)?
hmm, there was mention of the company who made the original Floyd->

Maybe a Schaller one would be sweet?
Cheers h., hope Charvel is cutting sweet very soon
I wonder what I want in here
-my site is gone and music a mess

Well I'm sure it will get ironed out one way or the other. Of course I've got one of the twins that will keep my whammy/happy for I believe quite some time :D

Thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these:

GASsing for a PRS Mira; but honestly, I'm not sure if they'll still be making them in 2030 (by which point I might possibly have enough saved up for one).
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

Wonderful guitars !
I love my J-100, almost the same guitar except for the bigger 200 style body, moustache and crown inlays.

Neck, sides and back are the most stunning, 3D and even solid AAAA flame maple I've ever seen (this is not a CS guitar  ), unfortunately my vintage cam and non-existent photographic skills don't do it justice.

Be aware though, while these Jumbos are a strummer's dream, for fingerpicking or bluegrass flatpicking I'd prefer something else.
(not that I'm able to play these styles  ).
And these Gibsons, being all solid, improve big time sonically if you play them regularly. :tu:
Can't beat them for big, shimmering country style rhythms ...

I could probably live with one of these Weissenborn styles ... :D

The blackwood is very nice timber.
Quite hard, so hardy guitars, it's a wattle. I have seen them growing on river flats.
Beautiful slide guitar actually, thanks for the heads up.
Much cheer!
btw, that shot of the Gibson acoustic is very good IMO, the 2 matched fiddlebacks look inverted. Gorgeous!

Hey, it was your link ... :hihi:

Thanks for the photo comment  , but I wish you could see it in person.
The flame "lives", subtly changing with your viewing angle.
The back is slightly curved which makes it kinda hard to photograph.
Funny, with women the curves tend to be much less of a problem ... :P
But then, they typically don't have a mustache.
