you know, a quick lesson on building the talk box might look nice in the diy forum
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Interesting concept just for the plugins (if you have the capability to connect something to the roof).IIRs wrote:I figured out how to squeeze in a third monitor:
I take it you use two GPU's to access more screens than just two?

Yes, with a VGA plus a DVI output on each. My two existing 22" monitors were using the VGA outs, while the new (s/h actually) 24" uses one of the DVI outs.Compyfox wrote:I take it you use two GPU's to access more screens than just two?
Its for video editing really, so I can work on the bottom two monitors while viewing the results on a larger screen with a digital input... but I'm enjoying spreading Reaper out a bit as well.

U has Mackie 1620?
I have the 12 for 4 years or so
I might be mistaken though.
Nice little board anyway, enough ins for my stereo generally,
I need more players out here.
Looks very organized compared to my bird's nest

I wonder what I want in here

Yes. I'm quite a Mackie fan actually: thats a 1402VLZ sat next to it, I have an Onyx Satellite in the rack in front of me, and monitoring is a pair of HR626s plus an HRS150.
Tidyness doesn't come naturally, but I feel I have to make the effort now that I charge clients to spend time in here.
Cabling is still a bit of a mess to be honest: its hidden by the chair in that picture. I need to pull it all out and redo it at some point when I'm not so busy.

Then you shouldn't see the mess behind "my" PC, which is the reason why I usually take pictures without a flash. Hides the "mess" in the shadows.

That's what my college days art studio (err closet) use to look like. What plugins/effects are those (err I mean strains)? I see you like your stuff analog and organicosiris wrote:

^ That's more like the "auxiliary studio" (i.e. the studio that helps power the music studio, so to speak). Here we see the main ingredient of the real lazy cakes.

Sucks that kind of studio will put most people in prison or the chair.

I don't want to derail this thread, but the chair, really?vaisnava wrote:Sucks that kind of studio will put most people in prison or the chair.
I don't know where your from, obviously not the US or any nation that is lax about pot. I am in one the few states (well there is about 13 or so now, and bills are always being put on the ballot in other states each year) in the US that allows that with a state issued medical card, or "green cards" as the hip people call them. The law in our state was just passed 2 years ago, so everyone and their grandma now has a herb garden to grow their own "medicine". High quality "medicine" has been rampant in this area now

A prison full of hungry musicians who spend way too much time on forums like KVR. It would be a sad sight indeed.vaisnava wrote:Sucks that kind of studio will put most people in prison or the chair.
