I didn't see this yet, but has anyone else got energy XT for iPhone? I got it this morning, it's quite good, slightly different from the desktop version but it is a useful sketch pad for on the go ideas.

Looks good. I bought it. But i have got no sound and do not know why... Other music apps produce sound. any idea?thebaggytrouseredone wrote:I didn't see this yet, but has anyone else got energy XT for iPhone? Edit: got sound, but there is latency... On ios? Not usable so far... Will try on...
Edit: ok tried it. Good idea, but with many bugs. Not usable for me at the moment. As nice as an ios app is: developer should concentrate on getting ext 3 ready with useful features.

Yes it is pattern based, you can have separate intro, verse, chorus etc, and arrange them on there own arrange page.

Got it, just because... really more curious than anything else....
Has potential, but I can't find out how to import my own samples (no manual), and assume that you can't....
I would not recommend simply because this developer has a history of not updating, and abandoning his software. This (like Nanostudio and Beatmaker 2) has great potential, but needs fleshing out a bit.
I actually like the work flow, but not really usable at this point.....

I agree with you. Cannot beat Nano Studio on IOS.

Seems irrelevant when compared to something like iSequence, Nano Studio, or even Xenon.

Totally agree, maybe 3 years ago I would contemplate this purchase, but not today.philliptwenty wrote:Seems irrelevant when compared to something like iSequence, Nano Studio, or even Xenon.
Btw; Releasing app that is not universal in this day and age?!

.. and knowing who is behind the app makes it pretty certain it'll remain bug ridden and perhaps unsupported.
It's extremely hard to beat Nanostudio 1.2. The new update simply crushed all opposition.
Cheers!

Cool, I've just added it over at http://www.idesignsound.com
Please take a surf around the site and see if there's anything else that you're using that deserves to be listed, and I'll get it added
Cheers,
Alex

I was curious as well... big mistake. Boring GUI, no demo, limited sounds, really half-baked and certainly not worth 5.99 GBP.
Nanostudio 1.2 rules.

I haven't tried the mobile app yet, but I love eXT desktop version. Does anyone know if you can swap back and forth? Like start something out on iOS and reopen it in eXT?[/quote]
