what would make you think that? It's only the 13th and they did say later in the month

For now we're actually looking at quarterly releases since we do have a few other things coming out this month on top of our AmpliTube 2.2 update for iOS.

yeah, I'm actually surprised because I thought for sure Brian said late May...just my opinion but if it's going to be quarterly (which is 110% reasonable) they might want to lay off the teasers and hype in between. I can honestly think of several products I have wanted and they kept pushing up the release date until I lost interest and right now Jet City is borderline there themselves as the music stores are now saying the end of may/middle of June but the Jet City page says this summer for the iso cab. I started taking notice in Jan when they said it would be out Feb 2nd...I personally hate that crap.

Now, I was going to post something else and because it has to do with AT I will here. Tonite I spent hours with my Frenzel again and have done a :dog: when I brought down the pre-amp on my firestudio things were quite different. I used the tube lead model in AT3, made some changes (selected class 'A' tubes for one), used a modern 4x12 and reduced the size a little of the cab (about 11:00 on the knob) and it was pretty sweet running the Frenzel before the presonus. When I went down to 128 samples on my buffers it FELT awesome and sounded great too...but with so many gain stages a bit of (but not too bad) noise. I still wont be able to track this way though because I cannot run Samp with much at 128 samples and not get LABs (lost audio buffers)

Two things though, first I'm not a fan of the noise gate in AT and second I wish when you opened presets (it's the quickest way to start off but I change most everything) I wish so many times it wouldn't by default open the tube compressor in the rack. No biggie, I just have to remember it does that but I would like to see a pedal type noise reduction or gate. Again no biggie because I'll just put my ns-2 between the Frenzel and my CH1 chorus.

You see that was another :dog: I use to run the CH1 so I had an old school stereo rig but when I bought the engater that changed because I bought the ns-2, the digitech od and built my TS clone...so I ran out of power adapters and I hate using bat trees. Last week I got the power cable thing for the ns2 so I can power all my pedals from it and I put the CH1 between the firestudio and the frenzel once again running it in stereo. I did not try it in stereo with AT3 but I did with impulses (Poulin/acmex2) and it was pretty sweet. I will do this with AT and do some more tests but I'm quite confident it will be great, there's just a lot to try...I guess it's time for 3.5 and hearing everyone's pleasure with the soldano model I can't help but think the two (frenzel/soldano model) will compliment each other nicely. :)

He did. But being an IK customer for 6 years I've seen this before

Plans change a bit when things pop up. Right now we have a big update with our AmpliTube iOS 2.2 just releasing plus two other products should be coming out right around the corner... :D

I can't wait - AT 3.5 has revolutionized amp sims. It's amazing sounding and I'm usually not a fanboi. The Orange and the Saldano's are fantastic sounding - great work IK!
Now the proud owner of an avid 11 Rack, Running Pro Tools 10.3.3 - for me it's heaven!

I thought you were an AcmeBarGig fanboy.

like I have said before, the best sim is ultimately the one I didn't get which can also be the same as saying the one I didn't use because I keep getting more amps and sims. You see that's the rub, it's a viscous circle...really a vortex that sucks you in :hihi:

So my guess is he doesn't like acme any less :tu:
