I'm sure you did and it's likely just a bug on their end. I did not receive jam points from my first CS purchase (had to create a ticket to fix) so this system is hardly perfect yet. This whole concept is bit alienating IMO.
haha! It's like I can picture them in some back room, lighting cigars with 100 bills. :hihi:
That's funny, but I picture a confident tech support team that ecourages people to just use their products, and there will never be any problems at all, much like this:

Not getting it. Was there supposed to be a vid? (I'm not familiar with the set)

unless it is like this:

which is a parody on this:

A Discover Card commercial I believe, which also has been aired constantly on the hockey broadcasts with the Stanley Cup.

I even hardly watch TV and have seen those Metro PCS commercials constantly for the last 2 years or so. They are still current with new ones also. Not trying to be stereotypical either, but the commercials seem to roll with it. Metro PCS is national (USA) right? Or is it only a Michigan/Detroit area phone/wireless company? I am sure you could find a vid of them if you are inquiring.

Well, they even spoofed that on some NBC show (I think it was canceled though)

I think I get it now though. IK's support has not been wretched but it is somewhat of a pain. What DOES bug me is after filling out that long bible-sized support ticket (to type in about 3 sentences) they STILL ask questions and waste time that you already answered.

Post

Oh, and we don't have that commercial here that I've seen.

Post

ok for people not familiar with the Metro PCS commercials and the (Indian?) tech support guys:

Maybe this also belongs in the "What synth can give me this sound" or "Does this sound like a Virus" thread
:hihi:

Post

haha!

btw, despite my "jam points" woes, I got the mudhoney. It's not as mulit-dimensional as the moller, but it's still a nice pedal. Not crazy about that replica though.....I really do prefer my delay after the mic anyways.

Now trying, the Princeton.......I have "fender" already so really not sure. Maybe I'll check out the other orange stuff I don't have.

I wish they would have gotten the newest pedals (I'm assuming SD is next) out this month.

Post

Well...they DID have the "rapture" to deal with after all. That caused a rift in many ppls plans :hihi:

That was before 3.5.2. As I said already, 3.5.2 didn't solve the problem.
Did you contact them since and let them know it didn't work?

I won't be buying anymore until then
OK. No more coupons for you. Carry on now.
funny?! :smack: how flip can you get?!

less $$$ for you

P.S. "coupon" is a total misnomer in the custom shop
Actually we will be unveiling a new system that has been in development for a long time which will do away with coupon codes in favor of a more direct way for using JamPoints. I have revealed a little bit about this before, but it is too early to go into details yet...

Where is the Webstore Based Custom Shop for people that don't want Internet based DRM schemes on DAWs?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_management

If the internet were to go offline for a week, how would you be able to activate purchased Custom Shop products?
Intel Core2 Quad CPU + 4 GIG RAM

Post

We don't use DRM. And if the internet went offline for a week, I think the world would have more immediate crises to deal with than non-authorized amps.

It is something we are still considering and haven't decided on yet.
