Running a script to send a fade out to 01v96

Hello, I need to send a "fade out" to a fader on my 01v96 mixer, that I will be triggering from a percussion controller.

I've already setup the triggers to send individual volume changes to the mixer (with Brad's help via email, thanks!)

However, I now want to send a fade out to the master fader of the 01v96. I was thinking this might be accomplished with a script, but I'm not certain where to start, as I have no scripting experience.

The CC# is 30 on the mixer for the master volume, basically just from 127 - 0 on the volume, over a two second time period is what I need.

Can anyone give me a link to a basic overview of scripting, or any help? Thanks!

Hi,

what about this:

1) In MIDI Assignments => "Transport Play" if a MIDI event you like occours (MIDI learn)

2) Create a MIDI - file on a DAW which consists of a CC fading (2s) on CC# 30 load it to "Media Files" and route the output to the MIDI output your 01v96 is connected to.

?

So MIDI trigger should start MIDI-file which controls Fader Channel.

Good luck, humphrey 8)

That did it! I am loving the Midi Assignments tab, I had no idea such things were possible. This is really something to be able to control things like this on the fly. I now have five separate volume changes set to drum pads, plus a fade out assigned. I've died and gone to Midi nerd heaven.

Thanks for your help!
