Sorry for the crosspost but I thought it was worth putting this in the main forum as well as our own.

A whole decade ago we launched a free plugin called Tau Bassline ( http://www.kvraudio.com/get/50.html ) and it was a particularly popular download. Many, many people still visit our website looking for this plugin even though it was discontinued quite some years ago.

In honour of its 10th Anniversary we've given it a facelift, upgraded the audio engine a bit and made it compatible with all the latest hosts.

This new free plugin won't be available via our main website, only on our Facebook page as a gift to our subscribers/fans/friends.

If you want to get a copy, go to

http://www.facebook.com/muonsoftware

...sign into Facebook and click the "like" button at the top of the page. The exclusive download link will appear in the "Exclusive Content" section on the left.

The download is available now.

There's a lively thread about this in the Muon forum:-

The merits of facebook are being actively discussed in the other thread :D

I hate to say it but I think its great. I like to keep in touch with my friends (and I keep my friend list ruthlessly trimmed to the people I am really close to) and so I don't think of it as evil at all so long as you keep a tab on your privacy settings.

Is it any good for businesses? I don't really know. This is an experiment. We're offering a free plugin and we ask you, if you want it, to connect with us on Facebook. We'll have to see how it goes

Kind regards
Dave

It's just great to see Muon Software in the headlines again. Still have and love Tau Pro. Not much of a Facebook guy but I do have an account..........I'll like you (not that way)........ :hihi:

That's great Tek, many thanks. I don't expect a whole lot of people to get excited about a 10 year old plugin being re-released but its great when they do.

Did you see my member number as well :o

I guess we'll find out what a decade of plugin development looks like when Ben adds Tau Bassline 10th Anniversary to the database.

Thank you, the link will be up soon. I have some pages on our main website that I want to update before putting it live (rest assured the software is finished and ready to go) but there is an issue with the tool we use to create the website that I'm desperately trying to resolve before I hit "publish"...

Gosh 10 years on and I still have it in the rack/hard drive.

Well done, sigh on the Facebook but will join in (see who can ID my ugly mug from the 9000+ freinds). Have to join tonight @work today, good to see you guys are back in the frame...

Nice facelift, amazing what cosmetic surgery can do to knock off 10 years :D
