...and what is with those, who bought it, because it was said the price increases to 199,00 ? (I can't remember when this was, but that I was really pissed of, because I did not have the money at that time but bought it nevertheless because of that announcement).

Shit happens! Things went wrong. Nothing is done to piss people off. See it as an accident. End of story. My opinion.

I feel for you and understand what you are saying. I also have a hard time letting things go sometimes and it sucks. Unfortunately, this has always been a dead issue at KVR and more frustration for the frustrated is the only thing that can become of it.

The MixControl sale was actually the sale that ended my love affair with "killa deals" and I'm better for it today. I don't care what price you sell your product for. I don't buy for sale's sake anymore. I buy what I want and if I happen to catch a sale, then great.

I'm sorry you are burned by this. It's not a good feeling.

Customers who would like to express their displeasure to us should do so through the following avenues:

Support Forum: http://www.teamdnr.net/forum/
Contact form: http://www.teamdnr.net/contact/

We are not here to screw anyone. We are here to announce something, which we did. This is a business, and if you would like to also register your complaints with the BBB, I would suggest you do so.

The problems you are being vocal about are ones of company pricing and policy changes, not product deficiency or system crashes. Is the product stable? Does it accomplish it's intended purpose? Does it do what is advertised? What you are achieving is just weakening the DNR name so that it becomes harder for us to move forward.

It's everyone's right to speak their mind on a public forum, but I really wouldn't take the bait as a company... it just leaves a bad impression if you start bickering with everyone who's got a grudge. And this IS the net, so there's not going to be a shortage of opinions or chips on shoulders.

No applause is necessary. If it weren't for me, this problem wouldn't exist at all.

what about them? if you only bought it as a speculative investment against some sort of future price rise, then you're buying stuff for the wrong reasons.
otherwise you probably got your money's worth and then some.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

given that 'the problem' is people whinging that you were over-generous, then, erm...

your theory is cock. to reuse a phrase i coined earlier.

all you actually did wrong, as far as i can tell, was try and be a nice guy.

+1 As I see it Reason, you generated a lot excitement and put DNR software into the hands of a lot of people that may have never even heard about the company otherwise. That sounds to me like an up-front investement and some cool marketing, aimed at "building the brand"...but that's just me.

Yes, in a niche market where there is a vast amount of competition, building a brand is a difficult thing to do properly, or at all.

Addressing the rest of the concerns - I think that once a new design is visible for the public to see, people will be quite happy with what we are doing. We will add any relevant information as soon as we are confident in doing so.

As I see it personally, if you are prepared to pay X amount of dollars on a particular day, then you have made your decision and should take responsibility for it.

I've seen stuff go on sale for big reductions after I have bought it, but that doesn't worry me too much because I decided to pay what I payed, no one forced me to do it, so I take full responsibility for my actions.
On the other side I have managed to get in on some great deals through group buys and 'No Brainer' deals, so I guess there is a balance.

Now back on track, I haven't seen any info on what is happening to people who bought into the subscription deal earlier this year, so.............
