Grabbed the new Tau, many thanks! Seems that I'm encountering some clicking/popping though when adjusting parameters via their knobs while playing notes. Adjusting 'glide' whilst playing seems to cause some odd behaviour too, notes sticking/sliding too far! Using the Win version in Windows7 x64, host is Reaper3.76 x86.

This is great, thanks to Muon!
Can't believe it was 10 years ago. Then again, I can't believe how dated a 303 sounds now!

Further noodling shows that this clicking/popping/etc is happening when I release the left mouse-button after tweaking a knob on the GUI, HTH!Muon Software Ltd wrote:Shif - thanks for the bug report, we'll check it out

I only ask because I need to get some techy details before I can reproduce the issue and wanted to keep this thread uncluttered if poss.
Kind regards

Haha, maybe not! The VST's of classic synths are now classics. It sounds great, though. Very nice filters!Muon Software Ltd wrote:Nostalgia ain't what it used to be?Then again, I can't believe how dated a 303 sounds now!

Thank you for the freebie! I think it sounds great. But two problems. I can't use the installer. This is what I get:

Looks like the result of an incomplete command-line? Luckily I was able to extract it with winrar. I'm also experiencing problems with Reaper, similar to Shifrin. I just sent an email and hopefully we can sort this out. Loving the sound though

The country I'm in, blocks facebook, so can't get it.
The old version doesn't work in intel macs either.

The country I'm in doesn't block Facebook, but I do. Pity, I'd love to try her out, but my distrust of Facebook/Google run deeper than my nostalgia.
I can appreciate you wanting to try something different, but a lot if people loathe Facebook. And with realistic cause.

I'm not sure I agree with the diagnosis but its clear Windows Installer has barfed.Looks like the result of an incomplete command-line?
Could you perhaps try the Tau2 or Tau Pro demo to see if it has the same problem? they were generated with the same software (Advanced Installer).
For the Facebook moaners, I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way but there is no other way you will get this download from us without going to the Facebook page and signing up.
When the Daily Mirror does those free Lego set offers I go buy the Daily Mirror for a week, even though I hate and loathe that newspaper - because my son wants the Lego. But I don't go and post on the Lego website about how the Sunday Times should be running the promotion instead
