is this enough tension for dark trance

m trying to add some tension to my trance tracks for some emotion and movement to keep the listener interested by adding tension (with a dissonance chords) then resolving tension is this the right amount http://www.filedropper.com/tension i looped it 3 times let me know.

Your 'mystery' chord to create the tension sounds out of keeping with the conventional chords that proceed it.

Try a diminished fifth (a chord with only 5 notes between the top and lower notes) for a real 'tension' chord. (think 'Stress' by Justice!)

thanks MagicGeoff, I was trying to go for a lochrian to create tension,ill give diminished 5ths a try.
