Thanks for all the compliments. It makes it all worth while. And if you haven't done so already - check out Limeflavour's other skins. If he wasn't there to help me out with this, it would never have happened.

Great skins
I'm sure I've missed it but how to install?
I think I did one of the Oatmeal skins once but I've forgot.
I think Alchemy tells how to install, I'll have a look at their manual.
Thanks

Install/place the files in your skin folder for Oatmeal (wherever that may be). When you run Oatmeal in your vst host click on the "switch skin" button - the location of that may vary depending on what your default skin is. Browse to your skin folder and select the ".oms" file (either "lf_legacy_light.oms" or "lf_legacy_Derek.oms" in this case). Oatmeal will pop-up a message saying the skin will show up next time you run it. Just close the window and open it again, and you should be good to go. Hope that helps.

I've for some reason never really liked Oatmeal, but the Tron skin is definitely awesome.

I wonder how the author of Oatmeal would feel about being asked to make this the default skin that comes with it, or if that's even possible now... I think I'm speaking for the majority of users when I say Oatmeal has one of the most offputting GUI's in synth history :p
It's mainly that reason alone that I've never given it a fair evaluation despite it being on my computer for years.

I'm pretty sure he has been asked many times, as new skins appeared, and is happierSendy wrote:I wonder how the author of Oatmeal would feel about being asked to make this the default skin that comes with it, or if that's even possible now... to let us do the choosing. It's one of the best instruments out there for a skilled
sound designer, and the randomizer is great for folks like me

I tried contacting Oatmeal's author a while ago, to ask him if he could increase the number of presets in a bank to 128 - but I couldn't reach him. I think he's gone MIA (missing in action), much like Synth1's developer did. Hopefully he's alright... and it would be great to hear from him.
