Yes...

Eno & Fripp did the Win95 & Vista startup sounds. When I was typing up the question I had only eno|fripp|sakamoto because I wrongly remembered that Sakamoto did the Win98 startup sound

so after a quick check I threw in some ringtones for good measure.

Hmmm, tricky. Turns out Eno did some ringtones too. So I guess you were the closest the firstest.

Very underappreciated vocalist i find. With all the furor over Hallelujah a while back, I had to play Cales version to a couple of people to convince them Jeff Buckley wasn't the be all and end all of it.
