Wow - lovely demo. Really dug the way the row/column setting can create pretty classic arp effects (like the harp sequence in the demo). I can see what I'll be doing most of this week!

i think i grabbed it from their forum. its intent was to make a plugin version of some online note sequencer that i currently can't find the link to but it worked in the same manner.aMUSEd wrote:I don't - it's not in the Reaper install so where do I find it?datapark wrote:thats where i remember it!sinkmusic wrote:Thanks a lot, TOneCarver.

It's not part of the Reaper distribution - I posted a JS version here, http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=79873, as a prototype.datapark wrote:i think i grabbed it from their forum. its intent was to make a plugin version of some online note sequencer that i currently can't find the link to but it worked in the same manner.aMUSEd wrote:I don't - it's not in the Reaper install so where do I find it?datapark wrote:thats where i remember it!sinkmusic wrote:Thanks a lot, TOneCarver.

Probably nothing. Nine times out of ten, YouTube problems are down to flash, if you have a HTML 5 compatible browser like IE9, Firefox 4 or Chrome, try this: http://www.youtube.com/html5bmanic wrote:What the hell is wrong with my Youtube connection?

Hi,
I've been looking for such a VST for a couple of months now!
Thank you very much: it's really a great plugin!
I am currently trying to find out if Nova3 can easily be configured to work with Novation's Launchpad (8x8) with Ableton Live
Otherwise, I've had a crash with Live 8, but haven't been able to reproduce it yet.
Cheers,
GilJ.

I've lost some sleep with this gem last night but loved every minute of it. Thanks for this generous gift ToneCarver.

Ha, this is brilliant! I've got three Nova3s bouncing around at the moment (bass, drums and lead) and the stuff coming out is genuinely interesting and inspiring. Thanks!

It's been a while since I found a fun new toy, and this one is really really cool. I can see myself spending whole days on this.
In one session, though, I couldn't add a sixth instance of Nova. All other channels would mute every time I tried to start the sixth one. This one had all kinds of instruments, including two instances of IK Philharmonik and other VSTis which I can't recall. After that happened, I started another session and kept adding Nova/Synth1 combinations, and it seemed like I could keep adding an unlimited amount of channels/instances. This is in Reaper.
Great job and thank you for sharing. I see this one becoming one of my all-time favorites.

This thing really is a nice piece of work. For those who haven't had the opportunity to mess around with a Monome, it bears a little resemblance to some of those apps - like one named Boing - but is more flexible because it doesn't have the limitations of the hardware.
It seems pretty stable and really packs a lot of features for experimenting with the sound. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like it would be easy enough to add any custom scale you might want via an ordinary text file. I think when the repeat feature is added - if I'm imagining it correctly - you'll be getting into Audio Damage Automaton glitch territory, which will be very cool. The only think I could think to add at this point would maybe be some tooltip hints when hovering over the different obstacles to remind what each one is.
Anyway, good job ToneCarver, and thanks for the fun (and free!?) creative tool.
