Nevermind I removed the files as it's now on itunes

i made a try at an iTunes LP, anyone wants to test it for me?

if you want the songs to work in it you can get them from here
seems for it to work in itunes you'll need the aac/.m4a files, because XID are not stored in MP3

also available in a neat little flash player (tho missing song 4, deemed too big(by 300KB)

here's a couple for the cafe player as the album is mostly done now, over compressed and clipped a bit but that's to make sure the people have a reason to buy a good clean version with pro mastering instead of just a tape emu and hardcore brickwall limiting

jazzy jungly kind of feeling, most of the second CD i can't even think of a style (tho i can't really find a fitting style name for the main cd neither, i always say to people it's electronic music, i'm unable to label it anything else)

my style, even tho i used nothing in it i use live to compose it, it still sounds like Muzik 4 Machines, which may not be a bad thing after all
couple of MKS and TX tracks in it, and probably the best talkbox work on the album besides "" which is almost all hardware synths and talkbox, with the exception of the drums that are, in every song, from ultrabeat (and from addictive drums in the non electronic dance songs)

edit: how could i forget to link to

I'm intrigued - I downloaded everything (all mp3s, m4a, the itlp). How do I make it go into LP mode?

Post

import the m4a in itunes
if on winblows, copy the whole .itlp folder in your itunes library in explorer, then import it like you'd do for songs(drag it over iTunes)
on mac, import the files, and simply double click on the .itlp bundle

the mp3 are the originals, the m4a were sadly made from the mp3, but the only format that stores the XID is m4a so for testing purposes, i made them

you can also import the mp3, but the lp will call for the m4a files, but you still can use the mp3 for everyday listening as they are a notch better in quality

thanks for your interest, it's a pretty simple LP based on the template provided by apple, i'l learn the way and the next one should be more elaborate, but i think the format is really nice, allowin more of an experience aka 33rpm, with photos, lyrics, even making of videos

so, did it work? i tried it on a fresh install of winblows and it worked flawlessly with the m4a, but other than working, how does it look? does it add some value to th emusic?
does having info on the songs and even sessions screenies makes it a better experience?
or does its just another 40MB wasted?

Unfortunately, I was not able to get it to work. I see the songs in the iTunes library screen, but besides the cover art I couldn't see anything else. (I wouldn't be surprised if there was something wrong with my iTunes install.)

That said, I'm really enjoying the music!

did you import it and then double clicked it in itunes as if its a song, it should open like when you play a movie

thanks re: the music, it's the main goal of it, the lp, cover art, video are just fiddling around
