"Now this is my first public EP. I still like to interfuse some elements of the seventies and the groove of now. Most of the tracks are brandnew, worked out of sketches since 2008, and I added some older pieces like "SlowDrive" remixed with new sounds or featuring singer and cellist Magda Glocka from Poland, who was inspired by the music and sent me her voice-tracks for "Play all Day" and "Melting Point". All work including mix and master is done on a Notebook. The only analogue instrument I recorded is my electric guitar. The melodic rest is native software I played on masterkeyboards, and the drumming is a mix of programming on drum-machines and sample-cuts. "

I am surprised this hasn't gotten any comments as I think the album is very cool. Lot's of interesting arrangements keep the music fresh mixing old school jazz, world music with some more contemporary sounds and rhythms. It has a very compelling vibe to it and grooves. Great stuff and I enjoyed it very much.

No problem. I saved it off to my computer and have been listening to it off and on for a couple of days. Very tasty stuff and full of interesting surprises. All of your choices are appropriate.

Keep up the good work and like I said I cannot imagine why no one else commented. Can make you feel unappreciated which is not the case at all.

thank you for your kind words...but the album is not mine (Martin Lowack is the producer)...I'm only managing Acustronica :-)
but I'll make you sure to tell him :D

Chilled or what?

Turn down the lights and listen to Cool Days. I was reminded of some of Terje Rypdal's After the Rain album. This is special and the sounds are spot-on.

I just downloaded Relic Style and the track is in a similar style but with added echoes of Birdland/Mr. Gone era Weather Report.

Worth checking with a nice Armagnac.

This is literally 8)

I like Maphew Style a lot. Are you currently working on any new music?
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com
