This is what it looks like when I try to coax Logic 8 in 10.6.7 to pass ReValver HPse:
PUBLISHED PARAMETER INFO:
# # # 33 Global Scope Parameters:
kAudioUnitErr_InvalidScope
ERROR: Parameter values are different since last set - probable cause: a Meta Param Flag is NOT set on a parameter that will change values of other parameters.
* * FAIL
--------------------------------------------------
AU VALIDATION FAILED: CORRECT THE ERRORS ABOVE.
--------------------------------------------------
validation result: failed validation
Well, well… It's free after all so who am I to complain? Besides, I've got AT3.
But I'm sorry to say I'm not surprised because ever since version 3, ReValver has been a disaster on the Mac, and particularly with Logic. Can you tell how happy I am not to have thrown good money after bad money and upgraded to ReValver 3.5?
/Joachim

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Yeah, we've had a handful of people report that, but it SEEMS like it is just a validation problem. If you try to reload the plugin several times, evidently it does work, despite Logic's insistence that it doesn't. I've heard from people who are happily using it in Logic with no actual errors or audio problems, just Logic complaining that it's not compatible. I don't really get it myself but we're talking to Peavey now to see if there's a patch/fix on the way.

I haven't tested revalver hpse (already set for amp sims), but I really appreciate the gesture Andrew
Cheers.
Cheers.

The product seems to be working ok in Logic, though it would still be great to get notified when this situation is "officially" resolved.zircon wrote:Yeah, we've had a handful of people report that, but it SEEMS like it is just a validation problem. Hi all,
I would like to share my personal experience with Impactsoundworks and I hope Andrew aka Zircon is reading this.
I have previously purchased Shreddage and another library from them, few months back and now I wanted to get Shreddage X. Previously I have done the payment through Paypal but now that I have moved to Egypt, Papypal would not allow me to open up a new account with them as Egypt is not listed with them.
So I contacted Impactsound works and inquired about an alternative payment. Doug Perry did reply to me by email in matter of few hours and we agreed to do the payment through Western Union. He marked a copy to Zircon who replied back to me with his address to send him the money.
All the responses were quick until the payment came. It's been around 5 days since I have heard from them although I have sent them 3 emails to ask them what's going on.
I am really disappointed with Imapctsoundworks' attitude and I have taken an oath not to deal with them again.
