Since this is kinda still on topic... for those who missed it, there was a Tron remix competition at indabamusic.com. The songs "The Grid", "Derezzed" and "End of Line" were the ones chosen to be remixed from Daft Punk's soundtrack for the movie. A lot of people showed up to compete in this. There were around 900 entries in total! If you look around, you'll be able to find some of them on soundcloud and youtube. Just thought I'd let ya all know.

Thank you to all the skin designers! These make the user experience immensely more enjoyable. One bug(?) - is it just me or are the (after)touch and velocity labels labeled incorrectly?

The second skin is a lighter variant of the Tron skin, desaturated and brightened to suit my taste. This skin is all done by me. >Download here<

I changed systems and am unable to use the extremely handy "all in one" oatmeal link with the last (?) version and a ton of banks?

Anyone else find that it is broken, and or know of another single place to get these goodies?
Really cool skin, btw -- thx for yr work.
Another question regarding skins in general I guess, can a person somehow make them bigger on the desktop? I remember with the old oatmeal skin and others I have used the knobs and controls are often pretty tiny.

Just wanted to make some fun of this, but yes I think that was the thinking of the "kinda still on topic" poster.Teksonik wrote:Ooooohhhhh.......... No I still don't get it............the name Tron in common?No_Use wrote:Get it ?
But then again I can't read minds of course.

heh, I remember checking out Oatmeal when I first started messing around with VST synths (and analog-type synths in general) and I couldn't make heads from tails. Thanks to this, I'm taking a second look at it. I gotta say I'm liking it lots.
Nice skins

Oatmeal banks have an .omb extension. They load fine here from the Load Bank button on Oatmeal's gui.............

The labels are in the same relative positions as on the original Lumina skin. The top one is the velocity and the bottom one is the aftertouch. I have verified that the settings in the "oms" file are correct.ouroboros wrote:are the labels indeed switched; "Touch" and "velocity" ?

P.S: Yeah I know the Tron soundtrack remix (Tron & music) isn't exactly the same as a Tron skin for Oatmeal (Tron & music), but hey I started the thread so I can talk about whatever I want, right?

You're right of course. I apologize for not going three pages back and checking if you're the starter of this thread.dbz wrote: P.S: Yeah I know the Tron soundtrack remix (Tron & music) isn't exactly the same as a Tron skin for Oatmeal (Tron & music), but hey I started the thread so I can talk about whatever I want, right?
Ok, I'll shut up now.
