Materials:
- pantyhose
- steel wire
- yarn

And that's it!

Instructions:
Bend wire into circle -> cut circle shaped piece out of pantyhose -> use yarn to attach. Done!

Hehe, I asked my mother if she could give me one of her nylon stockings when I was a teenager. She got a bit concerned ofc but was satisfied when I explained how I would use it :P Did I sing better? Nah, but all pops and puffs were gone and it's a cheap solution

Underpants will do if you can't get hold of pantyhose. Just make sure they're from the laundry and not the ones you're wearing...

To make one that looks more professional- instead of a piece of wire get an embroidery hoop from a craft shop. They are a circle and have a clamping ring that goes over the top. Get a black stocking, stretch it over the hoop, attach the clamping ring, tighten it, cut off the excess stocking and there you have it. Works great and looks good. You can even attach a gooseneck or mic clip to it if you want to since it has a tightening screw on it already.
