Wow that's pretty interesting. Does Reaktor export VSTs to use, or would you just run an instance of Reaktor with this arp running in it?

you can load reaktor as a plugin..

right. reaktor loads as a VST then you load the instrument inside reaktor. I have Cantanya and have not really used it near as much as I had thought. probably should see about selling or trading it heh.

Catanya doesnt work on Cubase 5.5 so beware, even though he says its been resolved, i'm afraid it hasnt,shame, great tool

It works perfectly in Cubase 6. It also worked in Cubase 4, it must be a Cubase 5's problem.

Hi Standalone,

I just checke dit in Cubase 6 and it "seems" to be working fine, although it was working fine in Cubase 5.5 until today, how long have you been testing it in Cubase 6?

I have emailed him about the 5.5 issues as he clearly states on his website that he has resolved Cubase 5x issues, which he clearly hasnt.

Now that's odd. Why would a plugin stop working all of a sudden?. Did you change some midi related setting or something similar?.

I have used Catanya in Cubase 6 five or six times. Still no problem. They said that it was due to a bug in Cubase 5, maybe it's true, I don't know.

Hehehehe it gets weirder.

I can open it in a new project in Cubase 5.5.3 and another TEST project but it wont open in the main project i am using it in.

AND GET THIS!

It does exactly the same in Cubase 6 demo, it will open in a new project, open in the test project but the main song project that it doesnt open in on Cubase 5.5.3 - it doesnt open there in Cubase 6 either!!!

Is it a CPR issue? as its the same CPR that it doesnt work in?

Weirder and weirder - i have sent him an email with screen shots etc.

Sometimes projects get corrupted for whatever reason.

Yeah but the project isnt corrupt, its only Catanya that fails, strange but true, i will await a reply from the developer.

I really apologize for keeping you waiting so long on my answer, but we had some serious unexpected personal problems in our Customer Service but now everything is all right. Our company ist not „dead".
It's really good to hear that you are interested in our product. I'm happy to hear updates are coming to Catanya, it's my favorite arp by far, some sort of 'groove lock', swing or micro timing adjustment would be really good though, as well as a pattern sequencer for stringing together longer patterns than the 32 steps. 16 bars would be awesome. And scalable interface would be great too, on my laptop the interface is just too big.
