Looks good.

Anyone tried it yet. Seems a bit steep at £12 but I've always fancied one.

I'm all over this. SO wanted the hardware but was put off by the price. CDM has an interesting write-up about the limitations of the iOS version, but those limitations don't put me off. Besides, I've got to keep feeding the money-siphon that is the iPad2!

Post

YES, it does support midi out and Midi In ext sync.

it supports both network midi (wifi) and also CCK.

it sends out on all 16 midi channels too.

how cool is this thing!!!!

Post

Weird I get no sound on my ipad2, though midi out seems to work.

Edit:never mind I had the ringer switch off.

any reviews so far ?
crashes ?
impressions !?

I've decided to hold off getting this for now until they implement user samples. I really can't believe they didn't add it in the first time around. Once they add that in, I'm getting it for sure.

I am not seeing this in the App store yet, but it would probably be worth the price as just a controller with MIDI out through the camera adapter.

haha, i've hear that the build of the original was crap....and it cost 100's...12 quid is a real bargain

Just my 2 cents:
The onboard sounds, as with most iOS apps, are ugly
Entering notes is painful as you have to hold down your finger for a good second or two.
Playing live is painful as often it will "write" notes when you don't want it, spending your time on the clear button.
The interface is painful as well.
The worse is that midi out is terrible, hanging notes, notes not playing,...
I was hoping it to be better than aurora, but it's even worse. :(

The best part about all these audio apps on iOS is when you get back to your daw, you feell like in heaven ;)

mbncp: thanks for the review. i wont buy it ...
problem is - most iOS apps dont have objective reviews.

The TNR-i app is still not showing up in the US App store yet. I wonder why? I see from idesignsound.com that it is available in the UK store (at least that is what I assume as the price is listed in pounds).

I like it, but can't figure out how to make MIDI-out to work.

Any ideas?

Yes, it's available in the UK store, and almost everywhere else except the US. Not sure why. Seems very strange. I might try and find out what's going on :?:

It will be priced at $19.99 USD

Yes! I'd love to see this in the US store soon! (anyone know why it's not yet?)

Looking forward to picking this up...
