I just bought this. Wow. It sounds like an expensive VA. I'm very impressed. It sounds very Rolandish.
Anyone else tried it yet?

The Arp editor is awesome. I'm having a blast coming up with new grooves.

I'm using one of these on my lap and a pair of headphones. Such fun.

Are you connecting the keyboard using the ipad camera connection kit? Does that come with the ipad or do you need to buy it seperately? Also, have you seen the Alesis I/O dock? It's out next month I believe. At first I thought it was going to be a bit of a white elephant because it was designed for ipad 1. But apparently it does actually work with ipad 2. Looks like a fantastic idea .... if it works well of course.

@ Dogboy73

I'm using the Camera Connect Kit. You have to buy it separately. It works great.
No need for anything else. The iPad powers the keyboard.

i've sent a letter to the developer.

i'm hoping they will consider retitling their product as i already have a unison vst synth named horizon, which i intend to continue to release versions of. i don't think adding "synth" is significant enough differentiation.

Don't know what to say about your letter but I visited your website and your synths / effects look great.

Back to iPad version of Horizon.

Horizon can receive coremidi over wifi from my Mac from Logic so I can treat it like an external sound module. Nice.
Although, as suspected. The arp, LFO's etc... don't midi clock sync. Hopefully that will be added in a future update.

beepstreet's synth sounds great too :)

it also has a great name for a unison synth, the name of my unison synth.

it is not the 'ipad version of horizon' because i haven't ported my synths to ipad *yet*

Within 39 minutes this became my favorite standard synthnon the iPad. SynthX still holds a special spot because of it's innovation as an instrument. But for usable sounds, this is the champ.

As an aside, thismsynth put the last nail in the coffin of Nanostudio for me. The big draw for me of Nanostudio was Eden. Beatmaker 2 for me is a more capable DAW then Nanostudio, but I would copy Eden sounds and paste into BM2. This synth and others in my sig, give me no reason for Nanostudio.

Was this even beta tested ?

Bug ridden junk currently and the worst audio bug of all, screaming data coming out of your audio port that freaks you out and blows the speakers.

Menu system forgets what's it's supposed to be doing most of the time.
