You assume right! Many users have praised the EQ quality, which is great.
There is room for improvement in every module, there is always :) but it is a channel strip: a tool for every track which has to be efficient and good sounding - and it is.
The EQ is very good sounding and the compressor is flexible enough for a track processor with its LR MS processing, 2 different modes and 3 sensing types.
I don't use the others often, yet the gate could be improved with a longer release time, the sidechain filter probably killed the need for a hysteresis control.
The stereo tool is great, but too much "sensitive", in my opinion. The limiter in such a tool should just prevent from rare peaks and some slightly more creative task and thus is appropriate - especially considering a compressor is there also.
Just my opinion, assuming that it is intended as a track processor and that further processing will take place.

Great, thank you for the comprehensive feedback. We have a number of suggestions we are looking into currently and these suggestions, along with others from this thread, will be reviewed as we proceed with development :)

Steven, I just wanted to thank you for engaging the users so much and so well, as evidenced in this thread. You're doing an amazing job so far.

Thanks!

That's starting to look mighty fine... with one personal reservation though. I've never been fond on the EQ band = knob colour thing. It looks cheap... kinda like Soundcraft desks actually. And no, I know, they're not cheap, especially not the big venue live rig stuff. Just my 2c, so don't worry about it too much (I can live with it if I have to...).

My thoughts also.
The eq knobs on the "MixControlPro-SinglePage-ALPHA-6.png" seem cool but the current ones will be cool also if colored the same.

Plus I really like the rubbery concave feel with the modules ON/OFF buttons in the same image.

module on/off buttons and eq knobs.

Ye, the texture used reminds me (and this is a good thing, cause I love that look) of U-He ACE... like matt, uncooked femo clay... or a rubberized plastic :tu:

The color coding was a request we added to see the response, so they are definitely not 100% permanent yet. We'll watch the feedback over this week and determine the best course of action regarding this option :)

A couple other things to mention:

1) We should be finalizing the suggestion and feedback list by Thursday - please add any other suggestions or feedback before then, as we will be focusing on actually releasing the new version as soon as possible.

2) We have been receiving a lot of e-mails about the final price of the new release - the price is still undetermined but we will announce it here before the sale is over.

A suggestion would be to try and experiment with different knob sensitivities.
Some cool plugins have the knob/slider sensitivity slower, scaled or dynamic as response to the mouse movement.
It's very interesting how some small adjustments like these can make such a difference on how the overall plugin feels like.
