Hi lovers,

This glitch is awesome, really good plugin. I have only one problem. That timeline. It is too short. It is only 4 bars long, then it restart itself. You can't do anything long with it.

I would like to do retrigger fill which raise and raise like 16 or 32 bars. Is there anyway to make it longer? Or not to restart itself when it goes back to the start? It's not nice to do pitch raise and after 4 bars, it's back to the zero, doh. Hopefully there is something i can do!

Thanks for help guys! :hyper:

I suppose you could achieve the same results using two or more separate instances of the plugin on the same track, and using automation to switch between them. That would give you a bit more flexibility.

That's not working :( I guess only way it is to make that "reading line" longer than 4 bar.

Is it dblue glitch?

and can you explain a bit clearer what you want to do?

cheers

Yeah, dblue glitch. How do i explain it. Uhm. There is that white little dot which move all the time right, and it determines what fx is playing. If i put just one, long fx there, let's say retrigger. I tune retrigger that the pitch will raise 12. As soon the "reader", aka white dot go to end and start from begin again, the whole retrigg fx starting all over again. I want it to continue raising more than just that 4 bars. I really don't know how to explain it better. If you guys still don't understand my poor english, i will make video to demostrate it :) Thanks and sorry.

There's a parameter in Glitch that you can automate called Pattern. It'll shuffle through each of the 16 pattern banks that Dblue has. Automate that in your host to flip to a new patten bank after every fourth bar. That way you could string together up to 64 bars.

Post

You need to use the pattern bank.

You create as many patterns as you want, and automate the pattern change in you r DAW sequencer.

Page 10 of the manual ;)

OR

You just automate the effects with the Solo buttons of each effect directly in your sequencer DAW

Page 11 of the manual :D

As far as i know, there are no other ways...

I know.. But it still restarting "calculating". It restart EVERYTIME when it goes back to the start. Pattern change or anything won't help. New pattern -> new start -> Already done effect will restart, like pitch raise. Back to the zero right that moment. Do i really need to do video?

Post

You only need 4 repeating bars (at most) to do tarnce anyway... (Sorry, I could not resist...

Post

Heheheh. Very funny :) I just want to use it to make long, epic fills. I guess i need to find substitutive for glitch. Tested turnado demo, didn't like it. Also tested effectrix, it was okay. What i fast look, it can made 8 bars! Not longer, so hmm.. I don't know

Post

why do you need glitch for this?

do you use audiofiles with it?

or vst-synth?

when you use synths you could use the host automation for such effect
sound is vibration, vibration is life

Post

if anyone has figured out how to go 8 bars in dBlue Glitch, that'd be awesome

Have you tried Gross Beat?
