Yes much cheaper. I especially don't think Spectrasonics would give up their 500 dollar synth for a guess, but more it's because I really don't think the demos sound like ElectraX or Omnisphere at all.

On another note, I think I assumed that more than one person could win based on a correct guess due to the fact that the answer isn't being given until sunday. Why the timeframe if someone has already guessed it I wonder? On second thought, look at that imposcar 2 thread. Waiting does help to peak interest.

I think I was hearing a Phish (Squirming Coil outro) and Ween (Push the Lil Daisies/Roses Are Free) somewhere in the arps demo unless this was just a happy accident or the same chords just being a coincidence.

Just caught the 2nd and 3rd teasers... you're a magician, that's for sure! I really love the sounds that are delicately percussive and filtery, just beautiful.

if one takes nicos original statements into account (he contacted the company and asked if they would be interested in a soundset), than i would say that zebra and alchemy are out (because there are already bigtone banks for these). electrax and linplugs synths are also not so likely, because he contributed to the factory presets (especially with linplug i don't think he had to contact peter for a new bank). i personally hope that it's dune since i have it already and wouldn't have to buy a new vsti to get this new bigtone soundset (my favourite sounddesigner ever!!). dune would also be nice since then it's a german cooperation. if it's synthmaster i actually might consider a purchase of yet another vsti.

My guess, and it's a stab in the dark: Poly-ana

Mainly because it hasn't been mentioned, and I'd much rather win a synth than a soundset. And what little I know about it kinda meshes with what I'm hearing. THOUGH, I think this may well be a spectral (additive) synth rather than a standard oscillator-paradigm synth, judging from some of the sounds (or just world class synth programming pushing the envelope! No pun intended!)

I must say, the sounds are amazing - especially the bass and arps. It's like everything that makes synths great from history has been filtered and distilled into pure awesome! I'm loving the 'mutant 303's in particular... Very 'physical' sound. I may very well end up bying this synth and bank just to dissect and learn from them! A very powerful advert indeed...
