I keep comparing the Alpha5 (the large one) with the small multipaged version and I feel that the Alpha5 version has something good visualy that's missing from the multipaged small version but don't really know what.
Maybe the light/dark color switch/blend... don't know.

hmmm... :?

Well I think we have a lot of feedback right now that will allow us to finalize things in a manner pleasing to all users, and hopefully the final version has that missing element :) We will compile all remaining feedback today and post further information as it becomes available.

If we do something like this, would there still be a need for a "small" version with less controls, or would 2 fully featured strips with consistent controls be a more viable option for people?
What I would really, really love to see is a vertical version of the GUI...maybe a smaller version of the graph at the very top, and then things arranged vertically. This way, I could put several tracks on the screen at once and line them all up side by side...

As an example, something like Sonar X1's Pro Channel.
A little bump on this...don't know if it is possible, but still would really, really, really love a vertical version!

For the vertical version, I would say that we may try to do something similar once the initial release is out, depending on how intensive the development is from here on. We will keep you informed if it is possible to do something similar, as we would very much like to appeal to all users :)

Thanks to all for the participation during the past few weeks of organizing and developiing this project. On Monday, July 4th, the current special for MixControl will be over, as we prepare to announce the release date for the upcoming successor, tentatively named MixControl Pro. The following formats will be available from the initial release date, with others following shortly thereafter:

  • OSX 32-/64-bit VST2.4
  • OSX 32-/64-bit VST3

Good question. Thankfully it appears the answer is defintely yes...

"in addition to those who already own it."

...for existing owners of Mixcontrol like you and me :hihi:

Wanted to buy MixControl for a while now and I really didn't have any excuse anymore, so bought the Organic compounds as suggested above :)

I have a question though; should I already be able to download MixControl too or do I have to wait for the official release of my purchase? So far the only download I see in the user area is the OC preorder.

Thanks in advance for your help and the great deal you're offering.

Zsolt
