Have any owners of Oberheim's Cyclone Arpeggiator had a chance to try out Yamaha's Keyboard Arp & Drum Pad App? I've been quite impressed with Yamaha's new app, which includes 342 arps and most of the modes and variations that I would want in an arpeggiator, but wonder how it compares with the Cyclone.

You mean someone is actually still using a Cyclone?

Since the question both invites a comparison between hardware and software and straddles the boundaries between the two, I've posted in both forums. I'm currently pairing the Yamaha app with my DSI Evolver and it's a match made in heaven. The Yamaha app is one of the best software arpeggiators I've ever used with my hardware synths.

Please don't cross-post. It generates confusion and duplicate effort as one person repeats what someone else already said in the other thread. I've moved this thread to Mobile, but left a "shadow" thread there that will point to it. If you need to do something like this again, just post in one forum, then send a PM to a mod saying where you'd like the thread to be moved (its permanent home).
