No I didn't get a chance to test on Live 8.2.2 yesterday. I've had most reports on Win 7 64-bit using Cubase 6.0.2 32-bit so that is what I was testing most to try to reproduce the issue.natqueencole wrote:
Did you test in Ableton Live 8.2.2? That's where I'm having the issue. Logic works fine...

Sorry about the delay, wasn't happy with the audio quality of the demos, but I've got it all nailed now so only a few more days now.meloco_go wrote:Hey Andy!

And finally some solid news for those that have been patiently waiting: the next product from Cytomic is called "The Drop" and it's an analog modelled resonant filter plugin. I've finally got some audio examples of the first few filter types which you can check out here:

I've started a kvr thread about it here:

News update: I've finally finished the new release of The Glue which will hopefully fix the "out of memory" crashes and freezes people with i7 machines were having. I've also added 64-bit VST support on Mac (thanks to an update in the Juce framework I use that supports it!)
I've labelled it as a "beta" build since there is quite a lot of new code that hasn't had wide spread usage, but I have tested in thoroughly internally. Once some positive reports come in from the early adopters I'll remove the beta status.
v1.1.6 beta
* New: Mac 64-bit VST plugin type
* New: improved smoothing algorithm now uses a 2 pole low pass filter on parameter changes
* New: slightly improved cpu performance
* Fixed: crash when creating a new instance of The Glue with oversampling enabled by default
* Fixed: slow redraws on P4 machines
* Fixed: auto release working again, was broken in v1.1.5

Thanks again, Andy!
Loading Glue on empty project, cpu meter jump 1% (oversampling off) up, and in action it use 2% cpu on my Q9550. Thats good, thanksandy_cytomic wrote:* New: slightly improved cpu performance

I have following problem with the new beta1.1.6 in Wavelab7.1:
I can't open the menue of TheGlue anymore (works fine with 1.1.5).
It just flashes up when I click on it, but disappears when I want to select something.
I use 32bit version of TheGlue on Win7/64bit

Thanks for the bug report! I've updated to the most recent version of the Juce framework I use for graphics and mouse handling, it sounds like something must have changed to do with menus to cause this. Can you please email me so I can be in direct contact with you? www.cytomic.com/contact Thanks

Thanks for the update, Andy. I'll try it out in Live 8.2.2 on my i7 system and let you know how it goes!

Ya know, as popular as The Glue is i bet Andy's raking in some cash (i would think he would be anyway). I said that to say this - Andy quoted on his FAQ page:
"In time, if sales go well I will look into doing a 64 bit version"
So i think we ought to see a 64bit version AT LEAST within the next year or so due to it's popularity. It's only one plug. Agreed? Yes? No?
