It is very good for a built in mic. But of course a dedicated external mic would be better.

thanks guys
i'm still in 2 minds about getting an ipad, as i could only afford a second hand ipad 1...this means that it doesn't really offer me any more power than my 3rd gen touch...it will only be about the screen real estate, so i might jut fumble along till the ipad4 arrive (and i get a second-hand ipad3
)
i was looking into this irig mic, yesterday...might be what i need to get sound into my ipod touch (3rd gen, so no mic) . so thanks obik for the comparison vid

and lastly, do you deliver to spain ?? i'm trying to work out if it's gonna be too much...to be honest, i'm trying to work out whether i want a microphone that big
any help with the above would be great

Hey ebow!
Nope, definitely not sorry I asked! lol
Yes you can use your Jam points towards an iRig mic but they only accept up to 50% of the purchase to be covered by Jam Points. So you should be able to use all 22 of yours.
Yes we do sell the iRig mic in Spain. I bet you might even be able to find it locally but then you wouldn't be able to use Jam points.
Owning Miroslav is awesome as its really useful but it doesn't give you any discounts on iRig Mic.
You can check out this thread and get tons more details on the Fairchild 670. Otherwise any documentation on a real Fairchild will also translate to our plug in version of it.

thanks for your reply, and the link...unfortunately, the original 670 manual is a little sterile and advanced...i'm really surprised there's no manual for your version...great to have some good explanation about the non-standard function terminology and application of various settings to various taskObiK wrote:Hey ebow!

thanks again

Can I ask something too?ObiK wrote:Anytime. If you ever have any questions about our iOS apps, iRig Mic, iRig or anything else from IK let me know. We're here to help.
If yes: Will you eventually add copy-and-paste transfer to your mobile apps, like Vocalive for instance? I'll bet your sales will rise if you do (at least with one copy

For how much longer ?!ObiK wrote:It is something we are currently working on. As for when it'll come it is still to be determined.
You have been 'currently working on' copy/paste for a year now as i remember, i paid for and dumped iRig for the iPad and cancelled a 130 pounds order because of this and made some off topic noise on a few KVR threads !!
Well here is some more. A high percentage of the 'Decent' audio apps on IOS have had this for ages, either im a fooken idiot and dont understand how hard it would be to implement this into your software or IK are not adding it for a reason?!?!

Great. And you know: You do not have to launch it on all 17 apps before any releases. One at a time would be fine. Right now AmpliTube and VocaLive would surely benifit from i.ObiK wrote:It is something we are currently working on. As for when it'll come it is still to be determined.
