A Synton Syrinx maybe? I don't think there is a VST emulation yet.

Cheers

I found a graphical bug/glitch in the midi controllers assignment window:

Also it should be noted that in english it's spelled "Controllers" and "Assignation" should probably be "Assignment" so I guess you left those words in French :)

Thanks Nielzie
I don't open this panel very often and forgot it.
Thanks also for pointing the misspelling.

Next step is the hardest to reach :)

Dont forget its a GB, and as such if people pass the word to their friends, on social networks, and on different forums the final goal is more likely to be achieved :)

I'll give exact numbers tomorrow but we're closer to step 2 than to step 1 atm, wich is encouraging :)

Considering the buzz it seems to low, you should tap that torley guy to do a video(he's mad but funny), sonic state would also give this a good review(like polykb) i'm sure, I like watching good videos before purchasing vst's/hardware...i'm sure others do too, maybe :? good luck anyway... :)

Well for the paper magazines the journalists do want a 1.0 version and not a RC one, to make reviews, same for big sites like Sonic State. So the reviews are schedulled for a later date.

Torley will very probably make something at a given date but atm is too busy with work-family aso.

So to make things clear the RC release is a Major opportunity for people to get the Synthix with a BIG discount, and we did try to provide everything necessary for people to make their own review of the Synthix : Dongleless demo version, more than 40mn of individual audio clips with the included and forthcoming Factory Library presets, a few demo tracks and a video.

I know of some V 1.0 Synths ( And even more advanced versions ) that dont offer such material so that users can make themselves an idea about the possibilities of the synth, in what we hope are comfortable conditions.

Like I said institutional buzz will come later, but the price will not be the same of course

Isn't that level 2?

Next level is 250 Stephen. ( It could have been 200 indeed but well you know about coders ... :hihi: )

I call our current level 1, but some might say its already 2, and that the first one was actually between 1 and 100 ( wich was quite obvious we would reach but )

So the last interesting level ( 3 or 4 depending on the interpretation of levels ) is probably 300 where people wont have to pay any additional Centavo VS what they were charged when purchasing.

Sooo that I'd say we're at the 2/3 of the GB.
:D
Wich is not so bad after ten days, but still requires some buzz/hep from all the people interested into reaching the 300 mark :)

The way I read it was:

New users
Xils Customers

<100 40% : 101.4€ - this is level one surely (<100 = up to 100)
45% :92.95€

<250 45% :92.95€ - this to me is level 2 (<250 = up to 250 which surely includes 199??)
50% :84.5€

<300 50% :84.5€ - level 3 - up to 300
55% :76.05€

>300 50% + gifts - level 4 - over 300
55% + gifts

Yes I agree 199 is exactly where you put it !

Yes the sentence wich worries me a bit is still, a bit lower on the GB page :

"If at the end of the offer, the lowest thereshold is reached (ie 300 people), you won't have anything else to pay"

I can't get this to work with the array

Ok I'll ask Xavier what he had in mind with this one.

Anyway I think the 250 mark is quite reachable, and the 300 one is still not so far.

Btw current GB : Now 200 :)

Bought Synthix yesterday.
I'm using the latest version of Logic Studio (albeit on an iMac).
I just completed a mix using multiple plug-ins and a couple of soft synths (Maschine and PPGV3) with no problem.
Just demoing my new Synthix yesterday, one instance, in an empty Logic song caused Logic to spike into the red zone on the CPU indicator many times. The sounds from the synth had digital distortion and the whole thing crashed several times.
