The controller looks interesting, but the video reveals little.

Congratulations on the release to you and the team, Jon! Having made one of my own just recently, I know how good it feels! :-)

But +1 to mcnoone for a Paypal payment option please!

How come there is no 64 bit version? The 32 bit bridge in Logic totally sucks!

I just checked my account at the GForce website. As i have registered ImpOSCar 1 (the "normal" version) the upgrade price is 59 Euros.

I already got Xils Synthix (group buy), Xils 3 and the special offer of Z3TA+ in the last two weeks but this offer seems to be too much tempting to pass it... :)

UPDATE:
Just checked the purchase process for the upgrade. The final price incl. VAT (here in Germany) is 70,56 Euros currently.

After viewing this thread all day I have come to the conclusion as to the value of Imposcar and its peripherals.

Firstly one needs to buy the software for 139 eu then if you want the controller it's another 749 gbp and then another 235 gbp for shipping to say Australia.

I know for accounting duties its easier to keep everything separate for the individual companies involved.

Wouldn't it be easier to have a bundled product with soft, hard and shipping.

I think the hardware would sell better with this approach.

It works out to 1666 aud and you still need a keyboard.

Tell me if I'm wrong but is this thing overvalued.

My 2 cents worth.

BTW love the sound. Nonetheless I wish each company much success.

Cheers

Is the sound same as in version 1 (apart from Unison that is)?
circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

Yes, I agree. I won't buy if there's no Paypal option, and it's a BRILLIANT sounding plugin!.

This older "preview" page on their site has a lot of videos about it, and a new feature list.

The other thing is, no one is using credit cards these days, or don't even have them anymore. In the current economy, it's just plain stupid to not have other payment options besides credit cards.
I know it's got nothing to do with Jon, but maybe he could mention it to the marketing "geniuses" at GForce as a good way to increase sales...ya think?

Just the synth itself is priced pretty well I thought.

...or perhaps we should all write to Dave Spiers about adding Paypal to their methods of payment. :)
