Hi lads,
I recenntly discovered this rather phat piece of software, 've been playing with it non-stop since then, really love it. BUT! I've encountered a problem.
Since i have been saving my tracks, and trying to re-open them, Tyrell's filter cutoff setting, has been reset, to value 0..this also occurs after pressing my DAW's(FL10) 'STOP' button and try to resume playback, it simply jumps to value 0.
I can't get my head around what it may be..
Also i can't assign any of the knob functions, from within Tyrell's midi assign-menu, to my midi-controller/keyboard(alesis QX49). I have to use a workaround inside my DAW to get the knobs to respond via midi. Anyway i wouldn't know if these problems are related to each other, would really like a fix, , if it turns out a bug, cuz i really like this phat-ass thing, but i simply don't know where the problem lies..?
Ajuta me, por favor!

hi 999,
that's an accidental midi learn. When you hit play, the MIDI controller is reset, and the knob jumps back down to zero.
right-click the cutoff knob and select "MIDI Unlearn". That fixes it.

Sorry for bringing up an old(ish) thread but I just had to give a positive comment about this synth.
My beloved old Akai AX60 (all VCO and VCF goodness) is stored away and I've been looking for a VA VSTi that can produce the same kind of dirty noises I can get out of the Akai with its ability to use the VCO output to modulate the VCF cutoff freqency. Now I found it in Tyrell N6, thanks to its flexible mod matrix. Thank you Urs (and all the contributors at amazon.de)!
The VCO -> Cutoff modulation in Tyrell N6 doesn't sound exactly the same as in the AX60, but it comes close enough.

Any audio Demo's of the AX60 next to the N6?Baconman wrote:Sorry for bringing up an old(ish) thread but I just had to give a positive comment about this synth.

The AX60 is quite hard to come by these days-have not seen that many about.
I have an old Akai X7000 sampler which sounds quite dirty and noisy-Akai made some great kit.
I'm kind of late to the party-just downloaded this synth and it's brilliant-Wow thanks Urs.

What a coincidence, I'll be picking up an AX60 tomorrow night. I can't make any guarantees but I'll try to record some stuff this weekend.synthmagic wrote:Any audio Demo's of the AX60 next to the N6?Baconman wrote:Sorry for bringing up an old(ish) thread but I just had to give a positive comment about this synth.

There is another model of Akai too with like bar graph readouts(Ax80?)-it looks really cool.

Big thanks to Omnitaur for this great skin:

The default v2 skin was a bit too big for my setup, this shrinks it to perfect size, plus the obvious Juno relations comes out in full bloom

Is there a way to get this fantastic skin, or do I just have to look at it?Numanoid wrote:Big thanks to Omnitaur for this great skin:
