SCOPE XITE-1 SDK Released

Sonic Core has just made another major release for the SCOPE Platform with SDK 5.1 for XITE-1 dsp platform and new SDK for older SCOPE PCI dsp cards with Windows 7 compatibility (both 32bit and X64bit). This is the first SDK for XITE-1 wich many people where waiting a long time for, and a upgrade for older pci cards. The SDK is for both 3rd party commercial developers and hobbyist/user-base.

The release had no formal announcement but merely a email to people who had the older SDK for older PCI cards. I'm sure a bigger announcement with more info will come 'soon'. Right now Sonic Core has a VERY short-time special discount on XITE-1 hardware with SDK for 40% off hardware price . The sale ends on the 12th wich is about 2 days away. Glad to see more oldtimers like yourself get on the XITE-1 train. I'm sure the 40% discount off hardware will cause quite a few to reach for their wallets . Sonic Core's Motto seems to be "leave no one behind", they made a bargain deal at 40% off XITE-1 hardware to get older pci SDK users on board (while letting other demographics take advantage of the deal as well), and if some users still can't afford the XITE-1 Sonic Core released a upgraded SDK for the older pci cards. It's great that people who've had their old pci cards for almost 13 years can get a upgraded SDK to continue developing on those old cards on newer Windows 7 (both 32bit and 64bit) for another 13 years or until the bottom fall out of their cards. Sonic Core has given the older pci system some serious longevity starting with platform software upgrade and now SDK upgrade, and pci slots are still being made for many of the latest motherboards so no problem any time soon. Those who stay on the older pci platform for now or forever can still develop plugins for the newer XITE-1 as well with their pci SDK. The longevity of SCOPE in the world of computer related gear is no doubt impressive and S|C are a great company.

I don't think Sonic Core intends to sell too many XITE-1's at that 40% off price thus the short deadline and the email only going to a certain group of people, but good to see they're trying to not leave people behind. I was able to take advantage of the introductory price when i bought my XITE-1 so no jealousy or envy here .

It's also 40% of XITE-1D, which brings it in at a price cheaper than when I bought my cards back in 2000 (and that's not even taking into account inflation).
