I want the bugs in 8 fixed, before I even think about upgrading to 9. If they don't fix 8, and promises fixes in 9. I won't upgrade.

Only just upgraded to 8 in the sale. Runs great for me but I guess for some it's still not right?

Anyway, no need for 9 for me, think it's cool that they're taking their time to get 8 good for everybody first.
