I think he's talking about the display. I agree, a black display would look much better (green doesn't cut it there, in my opinion).

Post

I LOVE the green

Shouldn't it be skinable??

It just seems like the contrast of colors on the EQ will be more powerful if the background of the EQ only is black/dark grey. It would not destroy the GUI, because the rest of it is amazing. It may be annoying to change at this point... but if it is skin-able, I will do it myself. :P

Please let me play with the BETA. :)

I am feeling super lustful for the new version! I cannot sleep at night and when I do, my dreams are no longer filled with big breasted women with loose morals... but MixControl and its sleek smooth skin and desire to be tamed by my desire!

While I appreciate your enthusiasm for the plug-in, that's borderline obscene. :P

It should indeed be skinnable, but that is a very large amount of development time and cost that we will only be able to consider if the response is extremely high. This initial release is extremely important for us, as we are still very new to the software scene and we need to see how the market reacts.

The EQ line will be thicker, to match the EQ node outline, but as a test to see how it works, I thought I would show users the progress of the old to the new :) Much different than V1 for sure. The colors indicate the change each filter has on the frequency spectrum.

cute !! :)

this thing could end up sounding the same and i would be convinced that the nicer gui would make it seem to sound better...i know for a fact that the darker 'alchemy' gui makes the synth sound 3x better
Can the background to this display be a much darker shade of green? Contrast is important in these displays..
