Lot of work went into this, all loops are played with soft synths, except the vocals,
the track got "remix" in the name because it's actually a remix of the master of this song,
warning: if you're not into Dub aesthetic you may find this track disappointing,
also it may sound very weak if your listen on small speakers, you need the LOWS,
the mp3 is only 128 kbps to keep the files size down, sorry for the lo-fi

interesting fusion of styles, almost like a bollywood meets soul on the beach in jamaica for a drink late at night with a disco dancer, if you know what i'm saying.

what did you use for those strings? they sound great.

yeah, not an easy mix of styles, but experiments are my food

sorry for the late reply, the strings are samples from the free edition of EWQL orchestra,
that was available for some months one year ago, but they need a lot of custom envelopes
to sound as good as you hear them, <wink>

I dig this stuff - just listened to your funky solo tune as well.

:)

How do you do your drums? (I'm not quite up to the stage where I can build a good full length drum track - apart from just using ready made loops or making up simple loops of my own).

cheers

Hi and thanks, for drums I don't have a single way to build the track, depends if I started with samples or synths,
anyway most of time with drums synths I write a MIDI loop and extend it with as much variations as I need, <grin>
