This has been unanswered for a week which I take to mean people agree or don't care which pretty much settles it..V'ger wrote:The plan was to introduce a system where the voting thread is replaced as a sticky with one to vote for next OSC synth (if allowd by KVR) last week of every month, but I think I'm right in believing the outcome would be a given and the vote pointless now that Tyrell is released?

Sorry V'ger I would have been more active... but I got confused, and was waiting for a new list of synths to vote for. Perhaps we can do that?

Hm yea maybe I should have posed the question in this thread, but it tends to disappear off radar.. But only 3 days till the May contest which I guess is a bit short time to get a meaningful vote in. I'll do it next time, promise.

I had no luck loading in Jagular, but I haven't given up just yet. I decided to release Kwaggah as a beta, and I also supplied a direct link instead of the email system.

That's cool. I was totally looking for some word on the subject in this thread, but Tyrell is a great one, and I've already started something for it, anticipating that it would be the one.V'ger wrote:Hm yea maybe I should have posed the question in this thread, but it tends to disappear off radar.. Yeah Tyrell is beautiful... however after being SERIOUSLY spoiled by ZynAddSub synth... Tyrell's polyphony count just can't do it for me.

Yea it's a real cpu muncher, but terrific sound so we might do with fewer instruments which will help. Also adjust the voice stack count and polyphony etc. Some patches don't use much resources at all.

Yes Tyrell next. Great series of synths this imo - Zyn, Alpha (quite a surprise), Tyrell. Wonder what will be after that.

For the upcoming osc 31, now u-he Zebralette is free. Why don't you add it to the next synth voting pool?

Absolutely, this must be on the vote, but next month might be a bit different than normal but can't say exactly until things are more clear.

Definitely, but it's beta, how do you all feel about using a beta for a challenge? Modelonia is also public beta atm until end of September, another possibility.
